It's a known issue, caused by excessive load from many people eager for news.  The team have said that they will be moving to a more powerful server over the weekend, at which point they should go away (until we manage to fill that one too ).

Well for a start, it won"t be trying to beat it while hoping to achieve 7 hours on a single battery charge, with that battery also powering the screen, several wireless circuits and more besides, all stuffed inside a thin glass box...

It's under quite heavy load at the moment, with lots of people awaiting news of the launch.  I believe there are plans to move to a more capable server sometime around the end of the week.

Apologies if this has been covered; a search didn"t uncover anything conclusive. According to a blog post from Feb 2011, there is an ARM compiled Spotify library available. Does anyone know if this will be likely to behave on RPi?
