Changed to a different tv with hdmi and seems to be working, however now when it asks for username and password i enter pi as user but doesnt let me type in password, cursor doesnt move or show that im typing, is that normal?...so i cant enter the password raspberry...help!

The model is Model B Rev 2 boards with 512mb RAM, i bought it from a seller on ebay and it came bundled with the HDMI cable etc

SD Card is Transcend SD HC 8GB card...

Hi Guys, Just received my rasberry pi and formatted the memory card using RPi-sd card builder and used the 2013-02-09-wheezy-raspbian.img, i cannot get anything to appear on my TV screen, its connected via the supplied HMDI cable but nothing is coming through, anyone got any suggestions?....apologie...
