Thanks for your replies. The SD card I am using is a DANA ELEC High Speed, 4GB, SD Card. I had to put the Lock switch in the Lock position instead of the unlocked position. Once that was done it all worked fine. Not sure why, but it now works.

Hi, Just installed the lastest Raspbian Wheezy on the SD Card and am trying to use Raspberry. When I boot it gives me the raspy-config screen. Whatever option I choose, fails due to the file-system being read only. Why is this? I have checked the directory settings and they do have write permission ...
