Re: Setting up HDMI output when video output isn't what you

Ok, found the 50' cable and did some tests. This is all on Gentoo on Pi2, stock Raspbian kernel 3.18.7-v7+. Tried all tests on both fb console and KDE5 on X11 using manually compiled fbturbo driver. There's nothing HDMI related in my config.txt, the only lines are disable_overscan=1 and gpu_mem=16 (...

Re: Setting up HDMI output when video output isn't what you

While I've not had firmware issues with LG, it's worth a shot. There is an update available for your model. http://www.lg.com/uk/support-product/lg-42LV355C# I have one 25' cable in place right now with LG (one of the replacements with no issues). Your post containing the last few lines of the compile didn't go back far enough to show the error, but I was able to see a failure for both 20140117 and 20140830...

Re: Faulty RPi?

I had this issue with a new 512MB Pi from Allied with Raspbian. Took the card from my older Pi and tried to boot the new one. Red light solid, Green light blinks once and nothing else works. I booted onto the older 256MB Pi again and ran apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade to update the image. B...
