Re: Le Bluetooth sur Rasbian lite

'Bdaddr' is short for Bluetooth device address. So in the .asoundrc file, replace 'XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX' with the address of your device, which you used for example when pairing the device.

Re: Le Bluetooth sur Rasbian lite

Trust me, your English is very much better than my French. PulseAudio is no longer needed for Bluetooth streaming; BlueALSA now handles that. The easiest way to implement streaming is to use the GUI, but with Raspbian Lite, it's a little more work. See if this post helps you out: https://www.raspber...

Re: Bluetooth don't work

If you've tried uninstalling Bluetooth, you may need to reinstall pi-bluetooth.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install pi-bluetooth

On Raspbian Lite, you'll need to install bluealsa:

I and many others on this forum began programming without a GUI (on "a 'black window' command line").

It was a ton of fun.

More information is required, such as the (simplified) Arduino code, and the results of your Pi code.

Re: Is BLE 5 Angle of Address available with the Pi 4?

Very very very likely no. The older Bluetooth chip and rudimentary antenna are most certainly not capable of Angle of Arrival or Angle of Departure capabilities. My understanding is that the Pi's Bluetooth has no features of Bluetooth 5.0 (and certainly not 5.1 features such as AoA and AoD), except ...

Re: Trying to get data of a sensor connected via Bluetooth

That is a BLE device, so the first step is researching how BLE works. You should be able list services and read characteristics using gatttool or bluetoothctl. You can use the Bluepy library with Python for custom programming. If you can get specifics on the services offered by the device, that woul...

I just confirmed: uninstalling BlueZ also masks and deletes hciuart.service. You're going to need to (re)install pi-bluetooth.

Code: Select all

sudo apt install pi-bluetooth

Re: Bluetooth transmiision?

Yes.
I have an Anker SoundCore 2, which I can recommend. But any decent Bluetooth speaker will work. If you're looking for a dongle, any reputable model should work. Avoid cheap Asian knock-offs.

Re: Maximum of Bluetooth Devices that can be tracked

Shouldn't be a problem. A BLE scan will find as many devices as it can, if given enough time. Finding the distance, and more so, the location, that will be your problem.

Here's what I would do. 1. Start rfcomm using a systemd service unit. See here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=254104&p=1550791#p1550791 2. Start your program using the same unit, a different unit, or one of the many methods you can find on this forum for starting a program ...
