Re: Will a raspbian sd card for the 3b+ work on the 3?

Hey, I am buying a pi for the first time for a school project and after the project for personal use. I am buying the canakit Raspberry Pi 3 kit. I planned initially on getting the 3b+ however I realized it would not ship in time and I got the 3 kit without realizing it wasn't a 3b+. This isn't a b...

As the title says, just received my RPi4B/4GB from The PiHut, & the HDMI output is dead, not a hint of anything from either socket, trying with my 2 brand new microHDMI cables, the only thing that appears to work is the new PSU! This is a straight swap over of the mSDHC card from my RPi3B+ which I ...

Re: Rpi4 NOOBS halted

Hi, I connected it to a TV; my initial problem was the HDMI not working probably. After that I recreated the SD-CARD through the adviced procedure, putting NOOBS (latest version, also tried Light version) on it, but that doesn't seem to work at all, because after putting it in the Rpi4, the FAT32 p...

Are you able to enable / have you enabled SSH for Raspbian via the "dummy" ssh file method (option 3 here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/remote-access/ssh/README.md ) ? If so, can you remotely login via SSH (perhaps via your, hopefully still working, P2B) and post the output of these tv...

Works also with #hdmi_force_hotplug=1 Any line in /boot/config.txt that is prefixed with a # is ignored by the system as it's just a comment. Which is what I'd suggested @Pavel try to check whether hotplug forcing was necessary - it seems it wasn't, just a valid group and mode needed. Trev.
