Re: Multi Server CM Board

Why use a two layer board? This sort of circuitry requires good signal integrity for the high speed signals and a low impedance (low for high frequency) power distribution network. Such a board will probably radiate to much and be too susceptible for exteranal noise sources. I would at least use a ...

Multi Server CM Board

Hello again Everyone, :D Since my last little project was a success in terms of getting the test board to work. I have now come back with some good news :D I have been slaving away on a hot monkey brain to get the new design that I have been working on out the door to show to the good folks of this ...

this may be of assistance

viewtopic.php?p=90975

the mac address is a combination of rpi serial and other things so it should have been unique but with 2 ethernet controllers it may spit a dummy.

Re: Use two LAN9514 controller with Compute Module

Hi, I couldn't see the second controller with lsusb. I see in the startup sequence that the first controller has a problem with the USB port 5. On USB port 5 we have connected the second controller. The LAN_RUN Pin from the first and the second controller is connected to the same GPIO. If I remembe...

Re: Use two LAN9514 controller with Compute Module

Good evening, me and some colleagues has designed a evaluation board for the Raspberry Pi Compute module. On this board we have the normal I/Os, some I2C components (LM75, I/O, ADC). Additional to this I/O components we want to use two LAN9514 controllers with the compute module, but we had a probl...

Re: Flashing The Compute Module EMMC

/dev/bsg is indeed unusual. i would have a shot and see if you can mount it and find out the capacity of the drive. if you can mount it then see if it will take a flashing.

if you are still weary. try and flashing the compute module from a Raspberry Pi.

Re: New compute module?

Since the new Pi 2 was announced, I'm curious what the plan is on revising the compute module? The new ARMv7 architecture would make a world of difference to my application. We had to do a lot of extra work to get a NodeJS/Meteor app running on a Pi. It works fine for a demo, but for a production a...

Is there a way to enable both "sdcard" and "emmc" for the two different SD controllers on the compute module? From what I have read, this is not really possible due to the way on how the CM has been manufactured. you can only have one or the other but not both. the other alternative that people wer...
