Re: Compute Module Test Board

Ok a Small update i had to do as I had found my differential Pairs for both the USB and the Ethernet were off by about 20% which in the world of electronics is well... bad, So i re did the traces and placed the usb and ethernet with a 2.5% tolerance which is good. Another side note I am still decidi...

Re: Inline SO-DIMM mount

i do not believe that there is such a mount, the only thing i can think that can come close to it is a vertical through hole mount, but you will need to make the pcb wafer thin like for it to fit between the pins as it were.

No Sorry i've only used Eagle cad in this instance as most of the parts that i have found are for eagle cad, i am not too sure if eagle and kicad can use the same library.

Re: Intrest in a minimalist board?

I am a hack and hate it when I put in hours of time to find out someone did it better in half the time. Yes I know the feeling, what i am trying to accomplish is as you say start with a minimalist style board and work from there and i have put the basics in to get the point in where the Compute Mod...

Re: Raspberry Pi Compute Module - Eagle Library?

with the eagle cad stuff i had to source the cad files from various places, one website is http://www.schematicpal.com/ and the other website is the farnell website took me a week to get the relevant cad parts to even just design a simple schematic.

Re: Colocation

This certainly can be done, but the problem is you need to find a DC Company willing enough to allow a "DIY" server into their DC. so you will need to engineer a case to do this, as well as have space for Cabling, SD cards, removal of heat etc.
