I would start with at least two B models for development and try to find some IrDA or BlueTooth adapter with drivers/support for ARM linux.

If there are no such adapters, I would stick with model B otherwise I would add some A models to my pool of devices, too.

Just wondering what has happened to this thread...

I am interested in this project, too. Just can't wait to get at least 4 of these devices and start to build my own cluster.
