Be grateful if someone can check it for me. This is my playmp3.py code #!/usr/bin/env python import os ...

Re: use RPi to access USB drive from anywhere

Another note. Make sure you change your RPi password before trying the above.
If you don't, and someone finds your host address or current IP address they will have access to all your files. :o

Re: use RPi to access USB drive from anywhere

Should have mentioned I was using Filezilla portable because I was using a windows computer to access the drive. There's also a linux version of Filezilla.
So there you have it, access your USB hard drive from any computer, anywhere in the world !

use RPi to access USB drive from anywhere

Hi there Not sure if this has been done, but here it is anyway. I wondered if I could access the files on my USB hard drive attached to my rpi from another computer. Success ! Re: scummvm no sound

RPi online !
This worked for me.
sudo apt-get --yes purge pulseaudio
I think it removes the pulseaudio package, then ALSA is used instead. Now got sound in Beneath a Steel Sky.
I installed scummvm with sudo apt-get install scummvm
Google for scumm games.
Have fun.
