Re: VNC not show anything on remote windows 10

RPi4 - If you don't have a HDMI monitor attached then you need to set a fixed resolution.

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config
Choose anything other than default monitor.

Does this work for python scripts as well?
Yes it works for python and just about any other program or command.
Be sure to specify the complete path to your script.
Refer to the examples in my reply above.

Show the command you are using.

Have you connected grounds between RPi and arduino? Ground is required.
As mentioned verify the arduino is 3V3 not 5V.

If you are happy with the apt installed version 1.2.2 then use that. Since Debian does not update software versions between major releases (~2 years), installing by other methods may get you an updated version. FYI - The next release 'Bullseye' will have Handbrake 1.3.1 https://packages.debian.org/b...

There is a 60 min idle timeout which will auto disconnect the session if idle. However you should be able to reconnect.

[Options] --> [Expert] --> [IdleTimout]
Set time = 0 to disable idle timeout

Re: Running a program on boot (Pi 4)

rc.local and cron @reboot can't be used for applications that require desktop GUI as these will attempt to start your programs too early in the boot process. I have no idea about your service config? Never done one... init.d is obsolete and best to avoid. The easiest solution is to use autostart: su...

Re: Model A+ Pi Losing Clock Time

If there was a power outage or the RPi gets rebooted for any reason, and if no internet connection (or RTC), then the RPi uses the last boot time saved in /etc/fake-hwclock.data
This could make the time off by minutes or hours depending on how long power was off.
