Re: How to run a gphoto2 command on start up?

..... Note: for those of you who want to autostart something on a headless Pi, don't use this method. This lxsession-autostart method runs those commands when LXDE starts . (a headless Pi by default does not run LXDE, so your commands wouldn't run) That is only true if you are running default monit...

Now to answer your question... sudo pcmanfm ^^^ That opens the file manager as the root user, and any text files opened using it will also be run as root. Be careful! ;) Interesting........... As shown in the df output you provided, your SD card is full (Use% = 100%) Is your HD mounted properly and working? I once had an external drive mounted to a RPi. The drive went bad with a hardware failure. Without warning all data was being saved to the mount point on the SD card instead of the HD....

A list of supported files can be seen after clicking on the [Add Files] button. Hover or click the mouse to the right side of the filename field. Any file can be zipped and attached however many people will refuse to open a zip file. For code such as python please copy & paste then use the code tags...

Re: Brand New PI 3B+ wont boot

Your SD card may be faulty or a fake. Google to find SD test software.

The RPF has a new SD imager software to use instead of Etcher: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/

Formatting is NOT required when using Etcher or the new RPi Imager.

There is no such thing as a 'regular' composite trrs cable. There are at least 3 different wiring schemes. If you have the fairly common camcorder cable, (Sony, Panasonic etc) then RED of the cable needs to be connected to YELLOW on the TV. If you have the cable with ground wired to the 'sleeve' the...
