One issue with clock: ntpdate doesn't work for me in this image. I have replaced it for ntp ( Ubuntu reference ). Of course, it's compatible and the drive works fine with my Raspberry if I mount it _AFTER_ Linux initialization, but not in /etc/fstab

Yes, it's an 3.5'' USB 3.0 HD with its own power adapter.
