Re: Need a bit of help with NTP server

I'm playing with various things to get a bit more into Linux. I've set up a Pi as a GPS NTP server and it's working fine. It's on a home network and the NTP server Pi has a static ip of 192.168.0.30. On the same network, I can tell my Windows 7 laptop to use that ip address as it's internet time se...

Re: No connection when connected in a LAN

Thanks to all of you for your help, I appreciate it. When you connect the RPi through the HAG and your portable through the Linksys router, they're on a different subnet probably. Or is your HAG just a bridge? Then the RPi gets a public ip and your laptop still gets a private, NAT ip. Why this setu...

Re: How to make raspberry stable ?

They may have some effect. I believe some of the Class 10 cards have issues. And also class 6 (the one that was burned by the Pi), class 4, class 2 (with both I get stability issues). One friend of mine also managed to kill a NEW class 10 card with his Pi. . Well , I killed 2 new 64G sd ´s class 10...

Re: A suggestion for the Foundation

You would really be much better off trying to optimise the software you're using for the Pi. It seems extremely likely that your software radio (It is a software radio, right) can make use of either the GPU or the DSP on the Pi. The latter is probably not available to anyone except Broadcom enginee...

Re: Adding a co-processor?

So I'm new to hardware and I don't expect to be able to do this any time soon, this is more of a "could it be done?" type question. If I wanted to add an 8088 or some other type of processor to my breadboard and send it instructions to process from my Pi, how big of a project would I be g...

Re: No connection when connected in a LAN

Sshd is already started, I don't think is something related to the router since connecting any device to the router with the same cable works just fine, and connecting raspberry directly to internet works perfectly. I don't think there is any guest feature on my router, and there are no specific fi...

Re: Cannot SSH to QEmulated RPi

Update your Qemu RPI to fixed ip.

Qemu shuold use network bridgeing

If not the same network the you must add IP fwd eabled to your PC and probably an network routing entry at your router for that.
