Re: SD flash reliability
I have to ask. Why am I so unlucky? Guess what I'm left with? Four of my five surviving cards are Transend 8GB Class 10. All in all, from here, it looks as if an SD card is about as reliable as writing on tissue paper and then putting out in the rain. Read this , for help : https://github.com/raspb...

Have tried multiple power supplies and cables, voltages all OK as per the troubleshooting guide. Have tried multiple SD cards, currently using a 8G SanDisk class 10 that is on the tested list. Have tried 2012-12-16-wheezy-raspbian and 2012-08-08-wheezy-armel loads. :( I may assume your downloaded i...

Thanks for the reply. The problem is the MagicJack has a phone jack port and an ethernet port to be used as a stand alone VOIP when power is supplied from a USB wall adapter. Re: Kernel 3.9 on pi?
Has anyone started putting kernel 3.9.x on the pi? Since the F2FS is past it's teething in 3.9 and Phoronix is saying the Flash Friendly File System (F2FS) beats out ext4 on flash media (SDHC and USB thumb drives), I'm hoping folks are porting over to it. Either XFS beats ext4 with near kernel 3.3 ...

try use gparted from an running debian 7 live cd or knoppix on that and resize it so that may fit. if that failed, your dd image seems incompletly written .
