I helped myself.... The solution is very simple. For me, don't use the "modprobe v4l2loopback" because that generates a /dev/video0 where I cannot copy to. After a reboot, I confirmed with LSMOD |grep v4l2* that it was not loaded. Then I can use "sudo cp snap.jpg /dev/video0" and then there suddenly...

as far as I know there are no pocsag transmissions at 123.45 MHz. Over here, that frequency is AM airband trafiic for para jumpers and commercial advertising flights.

What kind of pocsag would you like to decode ?

I followed your steps, at least a sort of, and I run a script every 15 minute now, which checks if my router is still pingable and if not, restart network and if that does not resolve it, restart the Pi.

The script was in another subject on this forum about the same problem.

And now, again, after an uptime of one month the Ethernet fails again with the same message: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (smsc95xx): transmit queue 0 timed out Powerdown, powerup again does get it back online again but my smartmeter readings got a large hole in it now....
