lolo said ,,,, Are you tried Qemu? This is an emulator that can emulate many platforms / systems. I'm not sure i can handle the Amiga, but it is the best chance that comes to mind.

I have not. But I agree.

Re: [Q] Where should I order my Raspberry Pi?!

I got one in November which is now controlling my hot water heater. It was from ebay, the company sent it out within 2 days !!! I now ordered one from the same company straight from their web site on 30th December. It has arrived today :) It was from http://www.newit.co.uk/ which is in the UK. Well ...

Re: Amiga

As far as I'm aware there is not Amiga RiscOS. The ST might be able to emulate on-the-fly a 68000 CPU SLOWLY, as per the Atari. But the Atari just had the CPU, and an optional blitter chip. The Amiga had a handful of custom chips in there too. These all need to be emulated too. A bit too much to a C...

Some access points stop wifi to wifi connections. Is this the scenario which is not working? If so then post the AP make/model/software version and we *might* be able to help.

To transfer files, you can either share mounts, or run ftp.

The Ubuntu machines needs to NAT the network to the wireless. Google shows the first hit for "ubuntu nat 3g" is http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1313977

Re: External hard drive - only root can read and write

the line which says

sudo chmod 755 /media/ExternalHDD

change the numbers to

sudo chmod 777 /media/ExternalHDD

and this will add write access to the group and other. You then should have access.

Hello. The Amiga used a 68K processor and cross compling is not easy - it takes a re-write of the code. I dont think that its possible. There was talk before Comodore collapsed that a RISC version was coming out, but I dont think it got released. Bonjour - I used google translate... L'Amiga a utilis...

Sorry I did not help much to isolate your problem.

How about a different version to check ? Try Arch or RiscOS to make sure its the software... see the downloads at http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads

Re: Help - R Pi Errors Boot Failing :-(

Have you another SD card to use? Its gotta be 4G or more.
Have you re-flashed the SD card, and checked its checksum on download?
What PSU are you using ?

I might not have the answers, but these will help others to assist.

If its a temporary file, then I would put it into /tmp. And use chmod to change the attributes. Apparently so. But you obviously have to have a working Pi first. :o

Are you doing a straight copy of the working one? Or have a 8G or more one in the Pi do do it from? ( 2+G for the base Pi. 2G for the image = >4G ~8G )

Nope, putty can run in userspace OK on Win7. User issue. Why change the password as the first job? Make it the last job which ensures everything else is right.

Re: need help!!

You have an IPv6 address on the Pi. They have an IPv6 server. You dont have any IPv6 connection between the two, ie on the LAN.

There are ways to tunnel IPv6 through IPv4, but these need you to connect to an endpoint - like a VPN. But I dont know of any public ones.

Re: Copy image to multiple SD Cards.

Give it a go. Have one of the science kids with a stopwatch too :)

Also make sure the master has had the file expanded to the full size of the SD card too. You will be copying it, might as well make it right in the first place.
