Re: Preview to fb1 ?

When I'm running the 'make', I'm getting an error "bcm_host.h: No such file or directory"
Any idea what I should do now?
There doesn't appear to be an /opt/vc/include directory which I believe is where it's supposed to be. Is there something else I need to install?

Re: RCE at CAMJAM

Graham,
That's great. Could you email me at [email protected] and I'll let you know details? We're going to do it as a panel and there should be three of you graduates at least :-)

Re: RCE at CAMJAM

Hi. I co-organise the CamJam with Tim Richardson.
We've got the education-focused Jam in May... I was wondering how the RCEs would feel about presenting about your Picademy experiences or maybe even doing a panel session with a few of you discussing what made it great?

How about something to do with the World Cup? Record scores and generate group tables / finals pairings.

Re: Pi sensors

I would suggest starting out by doing what you want to do on a breadboard before moving to the Humble Pi. Get everything working on breadboard and get the code written before you do a more permanent set-up with the Humble. It'll take some time, so give yourself that time. You'll need to learn how to...

Hi. Unfortunately, the Milton Keynes Raspberry Jam is no longer running. The nearest Jam to you is probably the Cambridge Jam. The next one is on 8th February (but is currently sold out) and the one after that is 10th May. If you would like to discuss visiting the Cambridge Jam, please email me on m...

Re: XMOS multicore microcontroller dev board giveaway

I got one of these, free, at Christmas. Finally got around to soldering the header one. So, 26 pins later, I connect it to the GPIO... except I can't because the board hits the composite video port making it impossible to form a solid connection. This is why all other GPIO boards make sure they're e...

Re: Still confused, whats the diff between these 2 cameras?

I think the thing is here... Both those cameras are probably of lower quality (manufacturing quality and image quality), possibly much lower. For a few extra dollars/pounds you are a) getting a camera that is guaranteed to work with the Pi b) getting something that produces high quality images and v...

It all depends what screen you've got. Practical upshot is you should be able to supply 5V to the screen somehow as most s...
