While I do not have that particular application running I have several projects that I have built using both the Pi and a UNO. Should be very possible, but that may depend on your programming skills.
I plan to make a cherry base for my Pi and will use the screw-holes of B to fix it to the board. Is there a diagram of the board to help in the design?
