VGA to HDMI error

Hi, I just hooked up my new raspberry pi to an older VGA monitor with a VGA to HDMI cable. I turned on the pi (no sd card and with sd card) and both times the monitor displays "No Cable Connected". Should be fine for you RPi. The key bit of info is this: 4 x USB Output: 5V 0.6A ~ 2.1A, The RPi needs 5V @ 700mA (0.7A) or more.
