I went thru the same thing guy. last week mine tole me i had a conflict with one of the kernels. I just reloaded the sd card and started all over again. I use the latest weezey which came out on the 10/28. sorry i cannot be more therough on all this.

Hello, You could try synaptic. From a terminal type:- sudo apt-get install synaptic. Then from a root terminal type "synaptic", and wait, it takes a while to get going. Should give you a list of available programs. Use with care. Regards thank you mr hatter. I thought of that after I post...

Hey, I figured out alot on the pi. I run weezy and have it to where i want it. but after a period of time my pi stays powered with all the lights but the screen goes out until i hit a key and then it comes back on. repois list??
can anyone give me a command to access the packages listed so i may know of what programs are availale. I have tried repoislist and so forth and have no idea what programs will go onto the pi and which will not. would be real helpful
