Once booted one can:

$ sudo ifconfig usb0 192.168.15.201

and ssh to another device using ethernet over usb

but where to put this so it runs during boot?

120fps at 320x240 gets my vote!

the 2007 ps3 eye camera had this, so after 6 years the latest kit should be able to match and raise.

hopefully, the dropped frames will be zero.
