Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I'd been running Jessie since I first installed this great software and if I remember rightly I had a 5 second buffer and any motion detection would go back to the buffer size (5 seconds). I've now done a fresh install with Stretch and it doesn't seem to be adding the 5 second buffer to motion detec...

Playback speed I'm not sure if this has been happening since the start or if this is something that has just started happening. I haven't noticed it before about a week ago. Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've just done a fresh install using Raspbian Stretch Lite, installed the web interface. All is fine, I'm just wondering which 'Motion detect mode' is best to use these days? External or Internal?

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've been a long time user of this software and I'm still running Jessie Lite, is there any benefits for me starting a fresh install with Stretch?

I have 'Motion Detect' on and it'll keep turning itself off, the last recorded video was 2018-03-01 19:49:28 31214 Kb 24s. Sometimes, but not all the time when it happens the video are showing busy and there can be 2 o...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've tried updating from 6.3.6 and the ./update.sh still didn't update. I had to remove the folder and re-git clone again to get to 6.3.8 Hi Robert, I too have had problems updating with the update.sh command, but I think I've found the solution. The issue is with the "git fetch origin master" as t...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've just tried ./update.sh to get to 6.3.5 and it never updated again. I noticed when the update was running an error, see screen capture below. The error you are getting is in an install script command where it is getting the boardrev number in order to check whether it is a module that can handl...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I think there is something wrong with update.sh script. I launched it, commits didn't match so it updated, but i still see the old 6.2.28 version instead of the new v6.2.31. If i look at the installation directory i can see config.php timestamp changed to when i launched the update.sh script, but n...

I've now got my SSH working, I'm running the ./update.sh and it says it doesn't match and I run ./install.sh reboot and the version number doesn't change and it still says it doesn't match again if I try them again.
