Is it Unitek USB3.0 to IDE + SATA Converter?
I has those issues with 2 drives with that converter both on Linux and Windows
the converter was broken and it damaged both drives
after reparing the converter and replacing drives everything works fine.

this is B version rev. 1 with 256MB RAM memory
and the thing I forgot is the wire between hub and Pi (to power the Pi) is 0,25m only

lights on my RPi go out and after a second they came back
that's why I'm thinking it's Pi's fault
