Hi sam9s

I think you need to select SCP connection in winscp, Not SFTP.

Re: piCorePlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite playe

Hi Sam9s.

Good to learn that your problems has been solved. I have never seen a similar problem before so I don't know how it was produced.

Regarding Filezilla - I don't know.
I use winSCP all the time without any problems, would that be an option for you?

Re: piCorePlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite playe

You have still have a problem with your password settings in your config file. If you know how to edit it manually then please ensure that it has the format: password="your password" and save it by: sudo filetool.sh -b If you don't know how to do that, then please attach an USB stick, then in main p...

Re: piCorePlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite playe

Hi Sam9s Difficult times - there is certainly something seriously wrong with your setup. I have never seen any problems with a simple backup or reboot. The config file you copied also had problems. For the password it should only contain something like PASSWORD="Playstation" So could you please copy...

Re: piCorePlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite playe

Hi Sam9s

I think the problem is your SSID name, could you try a name with no space and no "-" sign (or other special characters).

Then after set up the wifi on the wifi page. Go to the "main page" select backup and then a reboot. Remove the LAN cable and let it reboot.

Re: piCorePlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite playe

Hi sam9s

Sorry didn't see your post.

You could try to leave the alsa settings empty - we have had positive reports doing that.
Maybe try to use sysdefault:CARD=Audio

Do you remember to restart squeezelite from the main page

Re: Call for beta testers: FIQ_FSM USB driver rewrite

Hi, I noticed that fiq_fsm is now disabled by default in the 3.14.y kernel, why is this changed?

Does that mean that we should avoid using fiq_fsm?

Thanks

Re: Call for beta testers: FIQ_FSM USB driver rewrite

Hi I opened a bug report at GitHub about I2s audio cards problems with the new kernel and firmware.

It crashes whenever I try to load the i2s modules.

I would be interested in knowing if other have the same problem with this kernel and i2s audio cards

Hi Thomas, Thanks for your reply regarding PiCorePlayer settings. I did as you suggested and manually copied the settings. Internet radio, 16bit/44 and 24bit up to 192KHz play to my AVR via HDMI. Excellent. However, on closer listening and a bit of research, I have found that the RPI output appears...
