Maddogbailey - It worked for dekstop icons, but i'm still not seeing the launcher bar.

UPDATE: Fixed!

i did

sudo cp -r /home/Pi/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels /home/USERNAME/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels

Thanks, DirkS. That's the second typo I've noticed in this book so far. :-/ The other has it "cmdline.xt" instead of "commandline.txt" on page 54, about the emergency kernel. Starter - I found your post because I am having the exact same problem following along in the same book.
