Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

Thanks billw as always for this update. Regarding this line: "Still & timelapse jpegs are included in media diskfree checking." Is there anything built-in to pikrellcam that does automatic archiving of stills & video to the /home/pi/pikrellcam/media/archive folder? On some of my older installations...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

There's an upgrade to V4.1 that has loop recording with loop diskusage percent limit.
Still & timelapse jpegs are included in media diskfree checking.
pikrellcam.conf has new on_motion_enable, on_loop_end and on_manual_end.
Fixed the video hang when pre-capture or other times are changed in the OSD.

When I set the pre or post capture time, and click select, the menu will freeze there requiring a "stop" and then "start" to get it responsive again.
Thanks for mentioning this. I see I overlooked something when I made a change a while back and will get a fix out soon.

Hey, I came up with another thought... Can you run a script after triggering a manual start and stop of the video? I know there is the on_motion_end script, but is there a on_manual_end script as well?
There's not a on_manual_end, but I'll put one in.

Re: what causes camera to not take picture sometimes?

I just set up a different system and power supply from the Pi I just posted about. Installed pikrellcam from git yesterday, so it is current code. This one has an external motion sensor connected to a GPIO and I have my own process watching the GPIO and sending a command into the Pikrellcam FIFO "e...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

I have pikrellcam setup and working for video, however am having issues with audio. I see the dB bar moving up and down, but when I click to manually record, there doesn’t seem to be sound on the video. Here is the log entry from the manual record: 08:44:05 : command_process: record on 08:44:05 : M...

I see that the nginx config file /etc/nginx/sites-available/pikrellcam includes the line fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock even though this is now using PHP7. I don't know what this means; on the off-chance, I changed this line to "fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php/php7-fpm.sock" but that didn'...

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

Is there any posibility to set the Motion Vector Magnitude Value lower than 1? I also wanna record slow moving Objects like far plaines and so on with lower Magnitude of Vector. Edit pikrellcam.conf and set video_fps, video_height, and video_width to what you want and don't use the OSD menus.
