Espeak works easily and fabulously on the Pi for speech synthesis.
It is surprisingly good!

What's the easiest way of installing TinyBASIC from the link to the DEB file?
Is there an easy way along the lines of 'sudo apt-get install tinybasic' or do we need to work a bit harder?
It's the usual chicken-and-egg situation ...
