Fresh install of latest image just updated pacman -Syu then followed the web page with the script for Midori:

Ah-ha! I was almost there. I had been doing a simple apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. The last time was 3 days ago. After following your commands, my raspi found 8 upgrades and 78 new files. I will share this with my friends, and encourage other readers to follow this 'enhanced' list of commands...

I just ran pacman -Syu after a fresh install using the the 22-01-2013 IMAGE and followed the details on the page, do not know what all the extra configuration you have added, I am still a newbie !! If you are running Raspbian ? then have you fully updated / upgraded from the Command Line ?

Yes if they based on the same branch of Debian Wheezy ARMHF, I run mine weekly....

I don't seem to be able to adjust the screen resolution no matter what screen I connect to. I get "Unable to get monitor information" whenever I try to enter 'Monitor Settings". I found Arch Linux Arm using Midori with Matchbox was slightly better response: http://archlinuxpi.blogspot.co.uk

I was considering whether a lighter Operating System like Slitaz, piCore or ****BSD may be better !!

I use a BT USB Dongle plugged into a USB Mains Powered Hub and I have managed to connect my phone AOK

It is branded Sitecom but LSUSB states: Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)

I am running Opera on my Zaurus ARM PDA's but it the most recent version is 7.55, and certainly will not run on a current hard float kernel. My PDAs are kernels 2.4.6 and 2.4.18. I wonder where the source is for that 7.55, I suppose it would be way past my skill level to do anything to make it run ...

Are you using Raspbian fully updated ? and have you installed all the Bluetooth packages ?

sudo su
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
sync
reboot

then:

sudo su
apt-get install bluez
apt-get install bluez-utils
apt-get install blueman

Go to advanced search
