To be honest I hope one of the addons is a simple VGA daughter board which can be easily added. I think if this was released as an addon, it would probably be the top selling one. There is one like this for beagleboard too but I dont have a link to it.

Just dont go there, and that would not work direct with the R-Pi, you would still need an extra circuit board to convert the signals.

I would assume the devs are using debian-armel but appantly other distro\'s are working on R-Pi compatable versions. Would love to see fedora on this.

I think that generally you can add anything USB, you just need the linux drivers. But that being said what you want is classed as USB Storage which is generally universally usable from the word go.

Believe it or not you dont NEED malware or virus protection on linux. I have used linux for 5 + years now and never contracted any on any version of linux I used. I have only ever known of 2 in existence but through the Repo's theres 99.9% guarentee your malware free.
