Re: How to clean Raspberry Pi board properly?

So, in short, air blower is also no good? I didn't know that cleaning could be a science subject.

And buying a special device just for Rasp Pi will be a good reason to get earful for a month. Is a brush ok?

How to clean Raspberry Pi board properly?

Currently, I'm using Rasp Pi 4 as my PC. Heat from the board is always high when I access the Internet with Cr. With the top case removed, the minimum value is 50°C, and maximum value is almost 75°C. If I close the case, the board heat could easily rose up to 80°C. Therefore, I have to remove the ca...

How are your speakers attached ?
Audio input, HDMI can't be used because my monitor is an old one. So, aside power gate, 2 USB ports, I used audio port, HDMI-0 port. That's all.

Re: Choosing default application?

The only way I know of settings default apps is going to Menu , Preferences , Default applications... . I am not sure if that is on the menu by default or if i added it there. If you dont see it then instead of me telling you how to edit the menu, just run lxsession-default-apps in terminal and it ...

Re: Is external debian repositories safe?

It depends on the Developer of the software. Yes in principle. Hopefully the software is well written and "portable" and the developer has built it on ARM before. Software supplied as source "should" build with something as simple as: ./configure && make && sudo make install but see the file called...

Personally would build the packages which are not in the Repositories from Source Code.
Thanks,
Since I never build packages before, may I ask is it possible to build an ARM version from any source code?

Is external debian repositories safe?

I found some apps in this site https://debian.pkgs.org ? Since Raspberry Pi OS based on Debian, I guess it may be ok to import Debian repo. But before I'm going to do so, I would like to listen your advises. So far, here is what I concern: Are apps from unofficial safe for the system? (broke the har...
