Thanks for pointing it out. It was in the source code section of his page, I thought that was just source code.

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

Boo on pistore. Full of rage and hate. I was able to get it from there, but of course it had to install it in a stupid place instead of giving me the option of just downloading a zip and putting it where I needed it (/home/pi/emulators/mame4all-pi - ya know some place where it could easily be found....

yes. Here's a link to the blog of someone who got it working. I've played with it a little. Works with midori or from the command line if you know the address of the video you want.

Re: How do I know if an SD is easy to corrupt ?

What do you mean by "Cutting off power to Pi without properly shutting down?" When I got my pi last year, (I just came back to it after an absence, so I don't know what's happened since september 2012) everybody said the only way to turn the pi off is unplugging it. I have mine hooked to a power str...

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

Will mame4all-pi work with 2 usb joystick cards? I use the zero delay one player usb cards on my PC mame builds, and I haven't tried 2 of them yet on the pi. (waiting for a shipment from china) I'm building 2 bartop arcade cabs for my Pies and I'd prefer them two players. I've used the xin mo on my ...

if I type ls I get:

README.md dev lib sbin tmp bin etc mnt sd usr boot init proc sys var

and the # prompt. I know almost nothing about linux, so I'm stuck there. This particular sd card is pimame and on my other pi it goes right to the pimame menu

Got a broken pi...

hi! I got a pi when they first came out and I loved it (I'm building an arcade cab with it running pimame) so a few months ago I bought a 512mb one (used) on ebay. When I received it, I took it out of the box, looked at the nifty new mounting holes, then, being busy with another project, put it back...

Last time I played neogeo games in mame, it stopped responding to the keyboard, so I unplugged the pi, like I always do, and when I plugged it back in the sd card was corrupted. It won't boot anymore. SInce going to the 9/18 raspian image I've had several file corruptions where I have to reimage and...

Things in my play today - composite TV with analog audio. 1) I tried playing doponpachi today and it was upside down! 2) When playing neogeo games (several of them) in mame, if I let the demo run for a while, the keyboard stops working. I can't insert coin to start, and I can't esc out of the game. ...

Re: My Project Idea - miniature arcade machine

a mini arcade machine is drop dead simple to do. If you run retroarch you also can get snes, nes, genesis/megadrive, and turbografix16/pcengine games running on it too. Parts you need: 1) Raspberry pi 2) power adapter 3) 4 gb or higher sd card 4) RetroPie installed 5) a usb keyboard or joystick enco...
