I have this same problem. I used the most recent 2012-08-16-wheezy-raspbian.img, and it gave the splash screen and never got passed it. The green light looks like it's blinking 3 times. I tried replacing the loader.bin with the suggestions linked to in this thread and that didn't help. Now, I'm conf...
