You can try putting a jumper over the fuse, but I think you cooked the voltage regulator.

Not how long. But how long has it been since you put 11v to your Pi. Like 1 hour ago or 10 min ago? The fuse is self resetting it will take time for it to reset. But with that much voltage it may have just gotten cooked.

Did you regulate it down to ~5V? If not it is dead.

I do not want to use GPIO for LCD...
All modern LCDs have 4 lane LVDS interface and raspberry has 2 lanes...
The raspberry pi has 0 LVDS lanes.

Have you tried turning up the USB current on your B+? How are you checking to see if it's mounted on your Pi? Did you try to reboot or are you just hot plugging the drive?

What I mean is that if I turn off the wpa_supplicant and disconnect the network, the ap creates itself with no problems (wired to wireless) but if I want wireless to wireless it wont start up the ap. Probably a dumb question but did you try rebooting after pulling the Ethernet? Also which of the tw...

Does your adapter support access mode? If not it will never work.

Do those dlink adapters use the "nl80211" driver?

Re: In libretro emulators (Retropie) xbox joystick doesn't w

Your issue is most likely in this line. input_libretro_device_p1 = "3" Try changing that "3" to a "0". If that doesn't work go up by one until you find a number that works. If you get to six and it still doesn't work then I guessed wrong. You will have to exit and restart the emulator after each edi...

I watch craigslist for 4:3 dvi monitors when I'm building a new cab. Thrift stores have them now and then as well.

$40 is about the norm price for one.

With the news that thieves target cars with keyless systems because they are comparatively easy to hack : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-29786320 I'd stay with old school key. My now old car has developed several electrical faults over the years, one of which is the central locking doesn't wo...

Re: Using GPIO to switch a 5v supply?

Should work provided the transistor you are using is rated for the current and voltage you are sendimng through it. Make sure you use current limiting resistors on the gpio. If you haven't ordered parts yet a MOSFET may work better. But if you are like me and just have NPN transistors laying around ...

The RPi will not do anything if it is not fully running all the time. The RPi cannot wake up without manually pulling and putting power or pushing a reset button. Then you have to wait 20 or 30 seconds for the RPi to boot..... What is Amp Hour rating of your battery? With that you can figure out ho...

@DougieLawson: I'm not sure. That's why I'm asking. RFID ignitions don't use a key. Priuses don't use a key. Unfortunately, RFID signals only work within 10cm. My Prius key has a range well over 10cm from the transceiver. It's not simple RFID, because the key wakes up in my pocket when I pull a doo...

"sudo top"
"man top"
Top is installed by default AFAIK.

Edit: to answer your question above. Overclocking could help if your processor is thrashing around. But it won't help much if you are out of memory or saturating the USB with tiny packets.
