Working my way through things, this had to change to broadcom_icd.aarch64.json export VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/home/pi/local-install/share/vulkan/icd.d/broadcom_icd.armv7l.json I still got this error. ./gears Could not create Vulkan instance : ERROR_EXTENSION_NOT_PRESENT It looks like the *.so and example...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 USB mass storage beta

I had used quite a few of the previous eeprom beta versions, so initially my Raspberry Pi 4 was doing a SD-boot and then trying to infinitely do a PXE boot. I set explicitly NET_BOOT_MAX_RETRIES=0 in the boot configuration file and flashed the eeprom once more. After doing that I got the USB MSD bo...

I guess the power output of the Usb3 ports in bootloader is too low to allow some adaptors /drives to run.

Is there a way to force reflash eeprom?
also do we need to enter anything additional to config.txt or set partiton flag to boot?

Good news, the problem seems to be fixed. I'll confirm that everything runs fine in a couple of days. Thank you for your help and guidance. Manjaro 20.02 for the RPI4 has been added to the list of PINN installations.

This is an Arch based distro with a choice of KDE plasma or XFCE desktop environments.

Many thanks lets see how well kde works

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 USB3, SATA Bridge, SSD, UAS(P) rcu_preempt CPU stalls, timeout waitings, data interrupts and ERROR 37

Have you tried on the latest beta eeprom?

I am running manjaro (archlinux based) arm64 5.6 kernel and using the quirks for my sata controller, it still has issues of freezing the os,
i.e after I ran ssh-keygen 4096 for new ssh key.
I need to go into dmesg and recreate this.

The default wpa_supplicant.conf file looks like this: ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev ap_scan=1 update_config=1 Ive looke...
