Re: Sound / Music Distortion in Morrowwind?

I found what was causing the slow distorted music and sound. Pulseaudio must have been conflicting with the "Alsa default." I uninstalled Pulseaudio by typing sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio . Now when I run morrowind, I see: Opened "ALSA Default" Rather than the Built-in audio analog mono message I ...

Re: Sound / Music Distortion in Morrowwind?

Sound / Music Distortion in Morrowwind?

Hey, guys. I've had Morrowwind running on my RPi4 w/ 4gb and Raspbian Buster for over a month now. Music and sound played fine before. Now, the music in Morrowwind is very distorted and plays slower than normal (almost like how you can play a video in slowmotion on Youtube). If I turn down the music...

Re: gzdoom on raspberry pi

I didn't fix Broken Pipe issue yet, but I confirmed it is an issue w/ the sound by running zandronum -nosound. It runs fine with out sound enabled. I have gzdoom and it runs fine w/ sound. I found a "soundfonts" directory in gzdoom which has a gzdoom.sf2 file. I am guessing zandronum is missing this...

Re: gzdoom on raspberry pi

This is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone had this error when trying to start a game in zandronum: Playing /tmp/zmidb2s8s7 MIDI file: /tmp/zmidb2s8s7 Format: 0 Tracks: 1 Divisions: 140 -: Broken pipe Playing /tmp/zmidb2s8s7 MIDI file: /tmp/zmidb2s8s7 Format: 0 Tracks: 1 Divisions: 140 I w...

Re: Geometry Dash On Raspberry Pi? Possible?

Going the same route Moonmarch did w/ the html5 games on the internet... I found geometry dash on Kongregate. I used Chromium to inspect the game portion and found the source: http://funhtml5games.com/geomdash/ If you click that link it should be full screen. Just to complete the standalone applicat...

Re: Eternal Lands (MMORPG) I need some help testing it

Oh! I forgot, I was getting memory errors when I tried going full screen (sorry I don't have the exact errors), so I edited my /boot/config.txt file: gpu_mem: 512 <-- it was 256, so I increased it to 512. I did a sudo reboot and the full screen worked afterwards. To be honest, I am not sure if it wa...

Re: Eternal Lands (MMORPG) I need some help testing it

I wish I could know exactly what I was missing to cause this error, but I was able to run the game by re-compiling. Here is a link that goes over it in detail: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?/topic/56415-linux-compiling-guide/ You still need the data files after compiling however, so I...

Re: Eternal Lands (MMORPG) I need some help testing it

Hello. I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone was able to get this working on a Raspberry PI 4? I am able to run the el bin and see the loading screen for about 5 seconds, but it then crashes with an undefined symbol error: ./el.x86.linux.bin: symbol lookup error: ./el.x86.linux...

Doomseeker or some Other Multiplayer Server Browser for Raspberry Pi?

Hello. Sorry if this has been discussed already... Is there any type of server browser, similar to Doomseeker and Zandronum? Searching the forums, it doesn't seem possible to run the Zandronum client, so Doomseeker is probably out of the question. I'm just wondering if there's something similar to D...
