Re: NES pi

A SNES controller already has beed wired to the GPIO pins from someone here in the forums.
NES should be possible aswell.
N64 is not working up to now, but some really great dudes are working on this already.

Re: last time apt-get update was executed

Maybe you could use something like

Code: Select all

watch "ps aux | grep apt-get"
every 10 seconds or so and scan the output for differences. Afterwards you could output the current date and time to a text file.

Edit: above solution might be better, of course.

Re: Pinball 3D on raspberry

I got emilia to run, it seems there are several perspectives. The only problem is: It does not work "in game". The menu is ok, i can select and load a table, but it gets stuck if I'd like to start a game. There's no move at all, but the application is not dead, I can get back to the menu and change ...

Re: rpix86 (Raspberry Pi x86 emulator) version 0.11 released

Good evening, just a small hint: NSW is for grinding, not milling. ;) This weekend, I had the possibility to test with one machine. Sadly, the communication on the COM ports does not work. The machine gets some data, but it seems that there is no answer back to the raspi. I have no idea, how to debu...

Re: rpix86 (Raspberry Pi x86 emulator) version 0.10 released

Autostarting any programs already is possible with the 4DOS CLI.
Simply create a file "AUTOEXEC.BAT" in the root directory of your DOS "installation".
Inside this batch you could run anything.
Remark that "AUTOEXEC.BAT" is written in capital letters.
I don't know why, but it does not work otherwise.

Re: Pinball 3D on raspberry

...as I thought.

I would like to try emilia from source, but i do not like the perspective. The perfect solution would be a portrait mode screen resolution.

Pinball 3D on raspberry

Hi there,

I am looking for a nice little Pinball game that could be run on the raspberry, preferred in 3D and with a portrait screen orientation.
Does anyone know if there are existing Pinball games like that? I have no problem if the games are only available as source code.

Thank you.

Re: rpix86 (Raspberry Pi x86 emulator) version 0.10 released

Hi there, I have a really old application which makes use of two USB serial ports. The problem is that the GUI is really scrambled. It runs on the pi in dos box, but really slow. The menu for the application runs ok on the pi with rpix86 but after selecting a program in the menu, the GUI consists of...

Re: USB over IP for Raspberry Pi

Is it possible to "connect" and "disconnect" any device in command line?

For example:

Code: Select all

vh.exe --connect <DEVICE-ID>
myapplication.exe --do_something_which_needs_the_device
vh.exe --disconnect <DEVICE-ID>

Re: RPi defekt!?

Re: USB over IP for Raspberry Pi

To be honest: Why is there a raise of 10$ for the raspberry? Now the purchase makes no more sense in my eyes. The raspberry is about 30$, the licence is 30$. Out-of-the-box USB servers are available for about 50$... :| Somehow sad, because I liked the approach of using "free" hardware for this USB s...

I am sorry but I have to report that this still does not work. The drivers are installed by dpinst on a clean system. Still, the client asks for installing the drivers. :| C:\Users\***\Desktop\dpinst>dpinst.exe /Q /C INFO: Option set: dumping log info to console. INFO: Current working directory: 'C:...

Strange...

Even more strange:

If i execute dpinst manually with clicking through the dialogs, it sais the drivers ARE installed.
