Raspbian Operating System will not run in VirtualBox, as VitualBox can not emulate the ARM Architecture of the Raspberry Pi. So what is the ACTUAL operating system you have running in VirtualBox ??? I don't think that the new keyboard and mouse that are available from the shop in Cambridge UK are yet available elsewhere - but they should be soon. I'll try and find out some timescales.
Thanks

Where to buy official keyboard and mouse in India?

I noticed that in India, Raspberry Pi's official kit is not sold. Why is that?

Is there any place here, from where I can obtain official keyboard and mouse?

We have random power cuts here and it's making Raspberry Pi unbootable, there really isn't anything running on Pi, when these power cuts strike, but SD card is still developing corruptions. Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ not turning on after shutdown.

How do you do a legal shutdown, especially without keyboard and monitor. Just turning the power off will corrupt the filing system, which might only be noticed later. on the command line do a shutdown -h now I didn't even turn it off. It was "on" the whole time, I'm accessing it through VNC Viewer ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ not turning on after shutdown.

The problem is back again, this time I didn't even disconnect it from the power. It was on, now the Pi is not showing on HDMI, turning the outlet off for 10 seconds and then turning it on is also not getting it rebooted. The green light is not showing up. Normally it the green light would flicker fo...

Same problem again, I left the Raspberry Pi on, just a short while ago I disconnected it's power cable at the Pi enclosure and now when I connected it, it is not showing up. Does the Pi have to be connected to a monitor, keyboard and mouse all the time?

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ not turning on after shutdown.

There is a fault that can affect a pi3B+ were by the voltage regulator chip fails after the first boot of the pi. If you have a meter you can test the pi to see if it has failed by testing between the first 2 pins on the gpio and ground one should read 5V and the other 3.3V , just be careful you do...

Re: Can I use Raspberry Pi to make router get a new IP?

Talk to your ISP. DHCP policies very widely. A DHCP server can be set to give a customer prem device a new IP on reset, on request, every X hours, after it's been offline for X hours, or never (i.e. static IP). You'll need to talk to your ISP to be sure. If the ISP aren't cooperative in resolving t...

Thank you all for your helpful replies. The Raspberry Pi 3 B+ starter kit I'm considering buying says it provides 2.4A power adapter but the link posted by fruitoftheloom recommends a 2.5A power adapter, will a 2.4A pose a lot of problems? https://www.modmypi.com/raspberry-pi/set-up-kits/rpi3-model...

I doubt it - what power requirement does it have?

Edit: actually if its a 2.5 inch drive it should be ok
Don't know if its 2.5 inch, the specs don't mention it.

? e.g certain IP address is banned from gaming servers
