Re: Raspbmc does not boot (black screen)

Hello guys. I bought an RPI 2 and the RASPBMC don't want to run. The Raspbian works well with a class10 kingston card. I installed with win32diskimager 0.9.5, and I downloaded the whole image from rpi.org. I tried the hdmi_safe = 1, it doesn't helped. Any suggest? edit: i see only the RGB screen on ...

Re: Wifi : can't find any SSID

It's possible the USB hub power supply isn't good enough to drive the Wifi adapter which could explain to lack of found networks. Providing your Pi isn't the original rev 1 board with poly fuse USB ports (F1,F2) then I would suggest you dump the hub and connect it directly to the Pi. Make sure your...

Re: Wifi : can't find any SSID

I'd comment out anything to do with eth0 in /etc/network/interfaces as a trial. It sometimes causes problems. auto lo auto wlan0 iface wlan0 inet static address 192.168.1.248 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 gateway 192.168.1.1 wpa-ssid "EE-BrightBox-w99fa7" wpa-psk "whatever" wireless...

Wifi : can't find any SSID

Hello guys. I have an Edimax ew-7318USg wlan card with an external powered usb hub. But I can't connect any kind of wlan network and I can't see any SSID network. Re: TL-WN-722N G-type network problem

The pi boots up with external powered usb hub. But when I would like to connect to one N network, it freeze again. It can scan for network (and it can't find 802.11 G type networks!!), but the connection fails. So I can't connect to any networks. dmesg message: 2.369756] usb 1-1: new high-speed USB ...

Re: TL-WN-722N G-type network problem

Generally it is recommended to use a USB Mains Powered Hub, due to the Pi USB Bus not providing enough power..... http://elinux.org/RPi_Powered_USB_Hubs Nono, I mean that this USB hub got "own" power. I know that Pi doesn't have enough power for wlan card. The only problem is that it can't see the ...

TL-WN-722N G-type network problem

I installed a new Raspbian to my Pi, and connected a TL-WN722N USB wlan card with a self-powered USB-hub. The kernel recognized it correctly, I sat up the interfaces. But now, I see only the N-type wlan networks, and I have a G-type network and the source is established under my desk. How can I mana...

Re: Ethernet only running half-duplex, 10M

So what should I do?
I need extra brandwith to store some unnecessary files on pi, or it can be used as a backup server.

Re: Ethernet only running half-duplex, 10M

I have tried with two 1m cat5e cable and one 5m cable with two different routers.
The copy speed over winscp (sftp) is about 900 KB/S when i use vsftpd, it speeds up to 1400KB/s
So slow, but why? Can I do anything?

Re: Ethernet only running half-duplex, 10M

ukscone wrote:are you sure it's running as 10M as i seem to recall Eben saying in a post somewhere that the 10M led is actually mislabeled.
But, when i reach over sftp the file transfer is so slow, about 800-900KB/s.
Do you believe that there is something wrong in config file or the hardware?
