I have nothing connected, so what can possibly drain power from it? Hardware failure? You can edit /boot/config.txt under Ramdisk section and edit which ramdisk (Android or TWRP recovery) is loaded. If you've connected GPIO21 to ground (or something is drawing power from it) your device will always boot directly to TWRP. I have nothing connected, so what can possibly drain power from it? Can't reproduce such issue. Make sure you're powering off your device properly instead of just cutting the power.

 I got zoom working on the RPi3 version as well, but it also suffers from the same video freezing.
OK, that would rather indicate some issue with the camera HAL than something with e.g. graphics drivers. Still need to grab some logs when I get around.

Hello , With the testing release of kernel 5.4 as well as support for vc4-kms-v3d-pi4, I'm wondering if you will be releasing a kernel update for your rom with hardware acceleration enabled? What it does frequently is start up without audio, forcing me to restart again to get it. I have it hooked up to my tv via HDMI, so this should not really be an issue. Any ideas? You could try adding hdmi_force_edid_audio=1 to /boot/config.txt or powering on your display before you power on the Pi.

You can easily live boot Linux from an USB drive on you PC. And you also have a Raspberry Pi that practically only runs Linux. ;) I have tried a Linux installation earlier that worked fine, but since it would be on a different card, that won't help much.
