Re: Screenly OSE -- Digital Signage for the Raspberry Pi

Keep your eyes on this Github issue: https://github.com/Screenly/screenly-ose/issues/527 In short, we need to replace the browser, but we'd love to have some development help there. Google Slides on Screenly OSE When trying to show a google slide, it says "This version of the browser you are using i...

Re: CGI MJPEG stream not loading

So I got Screenly installed a few days ago and have been playing around with it to make an info screen, I got most of the things I want working but the main thing I can't find a way and the original idea of my project is to get two IP cameras (D-Link DCS-5000L) shown, after searching around to find...

Re: Screenly OSE -- Digital Signage for the Raspberry Pi

Definitely something funky with the networking.

Regarding iwconfig, check the manpages: https://linux.die.net/man/8/iwconfig

Also, check system logs for clues.

Re: Screenly OSE -- Digital Signage for the Raspberry Pi

My best guess would be that it dropped the wifi connection. It appears as it was able to retrieve an IP from the DHCP server, so it was able to communicate with the router briefly at least. I'd recommend that you power cycle it. If the same thing happens, try moving it closer to the router (the ante...

Re: Raspberry Pi signage solution/operating system?

I found screenly but from description I can tell that is made to play remote videos from links/share with caching if it goes offline. /quote] From your description, Screenly would be a great fit. Screenly OSE (the open source version) is designed to be a stand-alone version. You upload videos direc...

Same here.. "The operation failed. Please reload the page and try again." after update.
Could you try the development version to see if the issue still remains?

Is there any way to get back to a Terminal session in a system that is running Screenly? I can boot back into NOOBS, but the edit config files option is disabled. Building a NAS with 2x WD PiDrives

Hey guys, Just wanted to share a weekend project. I used the new WDLabs PiDrive Enclosure to build a NAS. However, I decided to take it a step further and extending it with two drives (such that I could do RAID1), and yes, it fits. Tl;dr: It's a great hardware kit in a great form factor if you're bu...

The grabbers to reorder the list don't seem to work on an iPad. Surely that must be an issue with the iPad browser's html implementation and nothing to do with screenly? Not necessarily.
