I am planning on to add a WIFI adapter to my old 256 model B.
i am considering TP-LINK TL-WN723N
the wiki says it will work OOTB
has anyone used this adapter, if so pls post a feedback

The problem was my usb cable
i changed the cable it worked

It may be "rated 1A", but this behaviour is typical for a supply that cannot provide enough power, the moment it is asked to do so the output voltage collapses, and reset the PI. It could be that the "USB power cable" is too long, and/or too thin, and causes too much energy loss. Try another power ...

I am using a iphone charger for this
its rated at 1A

I see a coloured splash screen and can also see the console booting up for 1 sec
but after that it goes back to coloured splash screen and boot up after and after again

I use a Sandisk Sd card 4 GB class 4
I have connected it to a sont led tv thru HDMI

Well u see u can enable HTML5 in youtube which is supported by all modern browsers and see videos on u tube. I have not tried this yet as i am yet to get the RPi. If this works pls update here.
