Re: Fullscreen PS1 emulator?

Might be a nice touch to see a game playing at the end. Your right, but since it nows uses OpenGL to run fullscreen, I couldnt get SimpleScreenRecorder to record the screen :P Im now trying to make a shortcut to open Spyro the dragon from my start menu. I tried: ./pcsx --load "/home/pi/EMU/Spyro th...

Re: Fullscreen PS1 emulator?

Hello there. I managed to generate a preview of the window here: https://i.postimg.cc/gJmYQ4cq/snap24397.png Isnt that the proof that we can make it fullscreen? Is there a way to make the preview fullscreen..? EDIT: If you type ALT+F11, the window gets undecorated and changes positions to top left u...

Re: Change username on the forums?

My ig changed 2 months ago... Help an old man here. What is your "ig"? And what has it got to do with your user name on this forum? I meant ig name. It means "In-Game name". Sorry for the confusion. EDIT: I just tought it would be cool to switch usernames everywhere- having multiple names kind of f...

Re: A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

Update: Took the speaker out of its case. Had to do some desoldering and resoldering to remove the male-jack thing from the case, here is the result: https://i.postimg.cc/65Dc6Kf5/image-1.jpg Your bud speaker is not drawing 1 amp. Rather less. You were right. I noticed in the back of the speaker it...

Re: A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

RPI 3B+ default clock speed is close to the limit. In fact it readily throttles back from default when working hard. IMHO not worth the effort trying to overclock. Ill put a good heatsink on it- I doubt it could throttle back to 1.4Ghz. It only does that kind of thing when working at 80 c. temperat...

Re: A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

As an example... When I use that battery, I connect the 2.4A port to the Pi2Bv1.1 (which is limited--IIRC--to 1.8A) and the 1.5A port to the 7" RPF display, which only need 250mA. Works really well and I never get the undervolt lightning bolt. Awesome! All of my concerns about this project are out ...

Re: Speaker

Im not shure what you meant by that, but if you simply want to make the jack port output sound, just do the following command:

Code: Select all

sudo amixer cset numid=3 1
I hope I helped you somehow.

Re: Rasbian Stretch Lite

You should pay more attention to errors that your commands produces. In your log, it clearly said:

From there, its self explanatory.

Re: Change username on the forums?

I'm fairly sure at least one user has changed their user name. When you look through his posts they appear with references to the old name (in the post text of responders) in posts before the point of change. Ohh yeah, I saw that kind of stuff happening when searching old posts about Quake 3 on Ras...

Re: A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

**Im answering W. H. Heydt in this post, I didnt do quotes since there was too much meta-stuff going on, lol** You said: "The safe way to figure the power requirement is to assume the Pi is pulling all the power it can: 2.4A." Its not 2.5A? Wont it cause the thunderbolt thing? Lets not forget I want...

Re: A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

The only time you'd need more than 2A would be if you were really loading the USB ports. And since you'd be powering your USB speaker from the second output of the Power Bank, I can't imagine what else you'd have plugged into the USB bus that would overload the 2A supply. Keyboard, Mouse and extern...

Im aiming for the Pi3B+ since I want to do emulation on the go.
Second, I was looking at 10 000-20 000 mAh batteries so it lasts the day. :)

Thanks for the quick response mate. <3

I personally doubt a Pi3B+ will run off any commercially available power bank.
Ohh, snap.
Would it be a good idea to make myself a power bank then? (Using an adafruit battery and a charger board thing?)

Why does SD cards do that?

Why does USB drives, MicroSD cards and so on get corrupted?

And most of all, when they get corrupted, why does the storage support becomes read-only?

This concept seems to me really wierd, lol.

Cheers.

A good battery for the Pi 3B+?

Hello. For a project I want to make for myself, I want to make a portable computer. Only problem, the battery. I want to power a 5v 1a speaker along with it. So basically, I need a battery that delivers a 5v 3a (for the pi) and another 5v 1a for the speaker. Id also like a leftover port (5v 1a) so I...

How am I supposed to run this on full Raspbian? I know it had something to do with the "build from source" thing (probably) but again im gessing. Any tips? :) And thanks for the quick reply.

Re: Fullscreen PS1 emulator?

In the Configuration / Screen option, you can set full-screen. Cool! Only thing is, it runs really bad. Im getting 0.5fps just when im trying to boot spyro the dragon ***IN WINDOWED MODE :(***.
