Re: Using more than 1 core on the QEMU VM?

The way to do it is:

qemu-system-i386 -drive file=OS.img,media=disk -smp NumberOfCores

Hope it helps!

Re: Is there a way to link 2 RPis together to make a faster computer?

I have found out how to use more than 1 core on QEMU. I wasn't using the ARM QEMU VM, I was using the x86 VM to run Windows 98. I have had some success, though I have only been using one core. I am going to try using 2 or 3 this weekend. QEMU can emulate about what I would guess a 40 MHz x86 process...

Is there a Python 2 Graphics Library that functions in the Command Line?

Hi, Just wondering if there is a python 2 graphics library that works from the command line. I know there are good graphics avalible, because if you run the media player OMXPLAYER from the command line (when you exit the Raspberry Pi desktop) using an MP4 file, the video will play, in beautiful high...

Re: Is there a way to link 2 RPis together to make a faster computer?

OK. I might just go for the Pi 3 - But I sometimes use the Pi for some VMs I play around with. Those VMs only will use 1 core on my computer, so getting a Pi 3 woulden't help too much. I was hoping to link two Pis together to make an Octa-core computer, and hack the VMs to use 2 or more cores of my ...

Is there a way to link 2 RPis together to make a faster computer?

Hi, Just wondering if it is possible to link or daisychain two RPis together - to make a faster computer. Also, would I need two SD cards? :? And the same OS on each? So the point of this is to hook up two RPi 2s together, each running at 800 Mhz, to make a 1.6 Ghz ARM computer. :P Thanks, B...

Does anybody know of any
USB hub drivers I could download
for my computer with a ORICO 7-port
USB hub? It only works with one peripheral

Is there a way to emulate an Internet service in the x86 QEMU VM?

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a

to connect to the internet if the
host OS has an internet connection. :?

If anyone can tell me how to do it, that would
be great! :D

Nevermind. You can ignore this post,

You use the -vga graphiccard method.

A gigabyte per dollar about... :x I would suggest an electronics store, like Best Buy or London Drugs, or even Costco (Not entirely an electronics store.) My first SD card experiance was buying a Lexar 300x 8GB SD card for $10. I tried it, and it worked well. I have also tried SanDisk, which a...

Re: 64bit Debian OS for Raspberry Pi 2

The RPi 2 is 32-bit, so I don't see why you would want to
run a 64-bit OS on it... But If I knew an OS like that, I
would tell you. I think the RPi 3 is still running a 32-bit
OS!
