Re: Minecraft 1.14.4 on Raspbian Buster and RPi4

How did the opengl driver work? All I get is lines on the minecraft window. Zero issues. All three of my boys are playing Minecraft 1.14.4. One is playing full screen, the other two are windowed. The only issue I've run into is it crashing, like I mentioned, occasionally due to lack of memory. It's...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.14.4 on Pi4 (Gentoo 64bit)

With some tinkering, I managed to make minecraft 1.14.4 run on the standard raspberrian image! No need to install gentoo then if you don't have a spare sd card, have raspberrian already and want to keep it. Ok, I will now try to explain what I did, hopefully remembering everything. (Only follow the...

Minecraft 1.14.4 on Raspbian Buster and RPi4

How to setup Full Minecraft 1.14.4 (with Optifine) on Raspberry Pi4 (using Raspbian Buster) Please note : Do this at your own risk. If you have any doubts use a spare SD card. Pi4: I'm using the PoE Hat, with the Pi4 in a closed case and the PoE fan. The Pi 4's in my house are all 4GB models. Minec...

Re: Razberry V2 on Raspbian Stretch

Well, answered my own question after having a eureka "search idea" moment. I found a github issue with a specific response that seems to have solve the problem. So for others: $ cd \tmp $ wget http://mirrordirector.raspbian.org/raspbian/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.0.0_1.0.1t-1+deb8u8_armhf.deb $ sud...

Razberry V2 on Raspbian Stretch

I'm having issues getting the Razberry v2 to work with Raspbian Stretch. I have a Ras Pi 3 B+ running on stock Raspbian Image that came on the USB. I have also installed Docker which has a copy of Hass.io running in a container. All was working well except that Z-Way (Razberry v2 server) doesn't app...

Re: How do you run Raspbian Stretch as Root?

From http://www.raspberry-projects.com/pi/command-line/root-user-privileges Enabling The Root Account By default the root account is disabled, but you can enable it by using this command and giving it a password sudo passwd root Now you can log into your pi as the root user. Whilst this opens up sec...

Re: DHCP Server Issues

Alright, so after doing some digging, and some invaluable help from a friend that has way more experience with Linux than I, there were a couple issues... $ps auxww|grep dhcp Showed me 3 processes running, one was the dhcpcd client, which wasn't even needed, so I killed that and removed it from my b...

[SOLVED] DHCP Server Issues

Hey folks, I'm new to RPi. I've setup my RPi 3 B+ as a DNS/DHCP/Web/File/Printer server. It works great. What I'm a little confused by is that I'm getting errors when restarting the DHCP server. It almost looks like it's trying to start twice, claiming that it's already running. Or at least that's h...
