Re: Why are Newbie's ignored?

I'm also a newbie when it comes to the Pi, but I've found that the community here is great. They've answered all my questions so far, and I've learnt a lot of useful information.
If you're new to the Pi, I can't recommend this forum enough. :D

Re: Battery for Pi 3B?

That sounds great for what I need. I've found a power bank that fits within my price range: https://www.anker.com/products/variant/PowerCore-10000/A1263011 It outputs 2.4A and has a capacity of 10000mAh. I'll be using this cable: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAIDED-20AWG-5-Pack-10cm-Short-Micro-USB-F...

Re: Battery for Pi 3B?

After some research, I think I need 1.39A minimum to power everything. That depends on whether the LCD only requires 50mA (which I doubt, even though I've read that the GPIO connectors can only output up to 50mA). This is my source for the information: https://www.raspberrypi.org/help/faqs/#topPower...

Re: Battery for Pi 3B?

1) How long do you need this 3B to run on battery for? At least 1 hour, if possible. 2) Are you sure a 3B is the best option? It's the only one I own, and I need the device to play YouTube videos. (Video quality and fullscreen don't matter) My screen isn't compatible with the Pi 0's GPIO connectors...

Re: Battery for Pi 3B?

This is what I know so far - I'm using a touch screen, so no keyboard or mouse are required. In fact, I don't plan on using any USB devices, so I only need to power the screen http://www.neosecsolutions.com//products.php?47&cPath=20 and the Pi. (And headphones, which are plugged into the AV jack thr...

Re: Battery for Pi 3B?

Sorry, I didn't know it was that complicated.
I'll try to find out the power consumption of the Pi and other devices and ask this question again. :)

Battery for Pi 3B?

I'm looking for a battery that can power a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Will this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272971064412 work, or should I use something else? Thank you! 8-) P.S. I should mention that I'm using a 3.5" TFT http://www.neosecsolutions.com//index.php?cPath=20 that gets its power from the GP...

Re: Will I be able to use this screen?

Thanks for the advice!
In that case, I think I'll look at something simpler. :)

Will I be able to use this screen?

I'm looking to buy a small LCD display for my Raspberry Pi Model 3 B. I'm using the Pi with a NOOBS SD card. What would I need to do to use this screen https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262997120409 with my Pi? :| I should mention that I have zero experience with Linux, so I'd prefer things to be explained...
