I would put heat sinks on but I don't have anywhere to put them as I have a Sense Hat on my pi.

Re: Multiple Frame buffer beta testers wanted

I'd love to join in but I dont have a DPI panel, only HDMI monitors.

Can I do this with a Raspberry Pi model B (HDMI + composite, 512 RAM)?

Re: Building an audio system

So have you decided on what system you are going to build?

which RPi?
which system on the RPi?
which network connection?
which DAC?
which connection method from DAC to Amplifier?
custom/3D printed case for the system?

Re: Pi3B+ automatically shutdown while the temperature is less than 65' C

Keep it cool then...

Provide/attach an appropriately sized heatsink

Test again....

If it still fails... provide even larger heatsink, or attach a fan

Test again....

Re: Building an audio system

I found this tutorial pdf where I think are listed the parts I would need to assemble an RPI based system: http://www.iqaudio.com/downloads/IQaudIO.pdf It also includes some basic guidelines on how to run it. What do you think? Is something missing which I would need? My idea is still to use my PC ...

If you want to preserve your current installation and not rely on a fresh install, follow the instructions carefully in the attached link so you can "export" your RPi3B system from NOOBS/PINN and run it on RPi3B+ (a nd boot from USB Flash Memory ) https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/make-raspberry-pi-3-bo...

I had the same dilemma as yours, so I ditched NOOBS and exported the necessary systems to another microUSB (or USB Flash Memory as my goal was for a purely USB boot on RPi3B+)

Now an using my RPi3B image on my new RPi3B+ (either microUSB or USB Flash)

Re: Cooling w/ Razberry daughter board?

I'll assume its not an "issue" but a "problem" instead Am using a case with fan similar to the one in the link you provided so this is what I did 1. to provide power for the fan, I soldered a connector on the 5V and GND pins on the underside of the GPIO. 2. assembled the case, routed the 5V-GNDpower...

Can you paste the output of your lsblk for comparison

Only after getting seeing several examples from others I would consider this to be "normal"

As James mentioned in that thread, we're seeing what we can do to trim the image a bit. The next image is going to be trimmed a little, and we're seeing what else we can do. May I suggest a 3rd version which 1. Starts with absolute minimal desktop, like Raspian Lite with Desktop. 2. An app in the d...
