Re: NOOBS LITE 512mb partition?

It's an arbitrary value. You could easily modify this yourself by downloading the files from http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/data_partition/, changing the value in http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/data_partition/partitions.json then copying all of the files into a "Custom_Partition" folder in the /...

Re: NOOBS 1.3 problem with booting OS on SanDisk 16GB Ultra

Has anybody experienced this issue when installing OSes from online in NOOBS lite? Are all of these issues occurring when installing Raspbian + other OSes on NOOBS "full"?

Does installing Raspbian on its own work for you? Do other combinations of OSes work (including those not containing Raspbian)?

Did you try this with NOOBS "full"? It doesn't seem to be an issue for NOOBS lite.

Some keyboard issues I would expect as a result of changing drivers.

Have you tried the different display modes when using NOOBS v1.3? If you are connected via HDMI then try pressing number 2 on your keyboard once the Pi has booted.

Okay, I've restarted the torrent tracker. Has that fixed this issue?

NOOBS releases are specifically intended to be non-upgradeable - it is simply a case of using whichever version is the latest release when you are setting up a new SD card. This reasoning behind this, is that making NOOBS upgradeable would involve writing to the recovery partition which introduces t...

Re: Normal behaviour for HDMI and Composite?

Actually making the display mode be determined by the user rather than trying to auto-detect has so far proved to be much more reliable. NOOBS pushes the display setting selected by the user into the config.txt of the installed OSes. To remove this and go back to standard behaviour, simply delete th...
