Just a small observation, when I try to reboot from the GUI, I get asked for the sudo password, but the box disappears before I can type into it. Just about to give this a go on new raspbian image, will let you know how it goes, have found most powered hubs to cause issues to date, but I think I am just unlucky with my hubs that are lying around.....
