For those who already updated, see here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=206083#p1279059 (I've tested, works)
and here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=206083#p1279262 (official solution, not tested) to get older Wifi driver that works.

Samba on Raspi copy large files gives error 0x8007003B solution so far: don't use ExFAT or FAT32

I've setup Samba, copying small files with a few MBs works fine. Reading large files from Rapi also works fine. However copying large files to Raspi doesn't work. Windows always tells "calculating" and then gives error 0x8007003B on Windows 10 On Windows 7 it looks like the server went away, thats w...

Re: rpi0w freezes if Wifi comes back

I'm using PI as an accesspoint with hostapd and old driver version. It works so far without errors. However I don't use it excessively. It's only an access to the pi for a few command line options and streaming raspi camera video for some minutes.

Currently having a similar problem with PI Camera V2 NOIR raspivid -ex nightpreview -t 1000000 -w 1640 -h 1232 Gives very good images under low light conditions (No IR lighting) Switching an addotional light on it takes about 3 seconds to adapt brighter scene. Hostapd not working correctly solution provided

I've set up hostapd via sudo hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf Everything was working fine. In /etc/default/hostapd following line was changed: DAEMON_CONF="/etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf” It worked mostly fine when everything was connected (monitor via HDMI, LAN, USB Keyboard, USB Mouse Wireless Receive...

Re: rpi0w freezes if Wifi comes back

(When I tried to get the firmware from share-online.biz, a pop-up appeared stating that I had won an IPhone. This website is now on my blacklist.)
Sorry, I've added another storage location. Sadly the file is too big for an attachment here in the forum https://workupload.com/file/2wjUFnk

Re: New Raspberry PI 3 freezes (3 times in less than 12 hours so far)

I think it was not the PSU but WIFI, because internal WIFI was connected all the time when crashes occured, see here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=206083

Re: help with route setup from a remote windows server

You have to enable IPv4 forwarding http://www.ducea.com/2006/08/01/how-to- ... -in-linux/ and make sure every device has static routes to see each other.

Disable graphical/ GUI wifi management, because it crashes RPI

Following situation, I have a TP-Link TL-WR802n mini Wifi AP. Setup is with an WPA2 key. However when it boots it has an unecrypted wifi under the choosen name for a few seconds. If raspi is powered up before the wifi router, raspi 3 just crashes, the mouse can't be moved anymore. If AP was booted c...

Re: New Raspberry PI 3 freezes (3 times in less than 12 hours so far)

interesting that you get a low volt warning on a 2A power bank , I regularly run my pi3b with raspbian lite using a 2A psu and have on occasion run the desktop version too with just a keyboard and mouse attached. I think its the external wifi adapter. Raspberry takes about 1,5 Watt more Energie out...

Re: New Raspberry PI 3 freezes (3 times in less than 12 hours so far)

I've run sysbench using all 4 cores. Was very stable with it and I've a usb tester, so I know how much power it can draw without shutting the port down. It could be that the PI changes its power draw too fast and that causes the PSU to drop voltage too much and then theres a freeze, but I'm not a PI...

Re: New Raspberry PI 3 freezes (3 times in less than 12 hours so far)

Open Elec was installed on another SD Card than the freezing Raspbian. The Powersupply can give up to 2,5 Amps before it shuts the port down until reeinsert of the plug. I've tested this yesterday. The voltage is stable at 5,04 Volts till it shuts down. Shutting down didn't happen with the PI, so it...
